Some really badass trades I’ve gotten recently:

1. Supergirl: Beyond Good and Evil and Superman: For All Seasons. Got it out of a $5 from one of my local comic book stores.

2. Superman: Secret Identity and Superman: Birthright. Also from the $5 box.

3. Batgirl: Year One and Robin: Year One. From the $5 box too. I almost freaked out when I found Batgirl for only $5. You can’t find the trade online very easily, and if you do, it’s really freaking expensive.

4. 100% and Space Ghost. Super excited for these. More people need to read everything Paul Pope does. And Space Ghost is just awesome.

5. Gogo Monster and Solanin. I hear Gogo Monster is fantastic and a friend told me Solanin will probably make me cry.

So many Super trades! But they had so many Super titles that people all said were wonderful, and at only $5, how could I say no?

It was sort of funny because as I was looking through the box I saw Robin: Year One and joked to a friend “it’d be amazing if Batgirl: Year One was here for $5 now” and then two seconds later he pulls it out. They gave away something grand for so cheap. But I’m not complaining.

Big week, damn. I though Blue Estate #12, Rocketeer Adventures #3, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #10 were out this week, but… I guess not. Whoops.

Oh yeah, I also got “Soulwind: Book Three” by Scott Morse and “The Bunker” by Bruce Mutard for $3 each. Hooray. :D
